Marketplaces at Tong Chong Street


Tong Chong Street in Taikoo Place has been a popular marketplace in recent years. We have selected two markets which offer free admission. As each market has its distinguished feature, you may visit both of them to experience a joyful winter.


Tong Chong Street Market


Launched by Swire Properties and social enterprise Honestly Green, the third season of Tong Chong Street Market is back again to offer local produce, creative recipes and to provide a platform for culinary dialogues. The market features will 40 stalls which bring home-grown food, exotic packaged food and organic fruits, vegetable, fish, preserves, baked goods and natural health supplements.


To promote awareness of environmental protection across the city, it is recommended that visitors should bring their own utensils and bags. If you forget to do so, you could shop for earth-conscious eating utensils in the market. A series of workshops concerning sustainable development would also be presented.

White Christmas Street Fair 2016




Christmas won’t be Christmas without gourmet food and exquisite presents. If you would like to get prepared for Christmas and soak up the holiday atmosphere White Christmas Street Fair would be your ideal place to visit. Other than shopping booths, there will also be live performance, food and beverage, and DIY workshops.


Profit of the fair will be donated to Operation Santa Claus HK to help local charities. If you are interested in the first ever snowball fight in Hong Kong, you may donate HKD30 to participate. Each session of game lasts for 10 minutes.

CCB (Asia) Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival

As expected by all the wine and liquor lovers, Wine and Dine Festival is going to return to the Central Harbourfront this autumn. The four-consecutive-day event will have over 400 stalls, which turns the event to be the biggest amongst previous years.


Exhibitors from all around the world will showcase their fine wine and spirits. You may explore wide range of flavoursome wine, whisky, beer, sake, and more. Same as last year, the stalls are divided into different area. The Country Pavillion offers wineries from Bordeaux, as well as other region and countries. This year, first time exhibitors including Jerusalem and Croatia will also feature at the Country Pavillion. The Discovery Zone allow visitors to try new favours. The Hong Kong Bar is the highlight of this zone, which will bring a cocktails mixed with local taste including Horlicks and milk tea.


The Grand Pavillion is exclusive for Grand Pass holders. Just sit back and escape from the crowd of the festival. Here you may enjoy premium wines at the Grand Wine Booths and signature dishes of award-winning restaurants at the Star Food Booths. Grand Pass could be purchased at door or advance at HKD 600 each.


For Foodies, you may find local foods such as fish balls and chicken wings at the bran new Street Eats section. There will also be more delights at the Hotel Delicious and Tasty Bites sections.

Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong

Lai Yuen Super Summer 2016

Carrying 48 years of happy memories for children of different generations, Lai Yuen is definitely a precious place that witnesses the growth of many people in Hong Kong. Before its closure in 1997, it was an amusement park that connected everyone in Hong Kong. Its zoo and other recreational facilities made it a popular place for family gathering at that time.


This summer, Lai Yuen will once again be restored to offer fun and exciting activities to all to embody its “Lai Yuen spirit”, that is to bring happiness to everyone in the city. The amusement park will be relocated to AsiaWorld-Expo. It will feature indoor and outdoor entertainment facilities which span an area of 19,000 square metres in total.

Games of all levels of excitement will be provided for all ages, such as XRACE, bumper car,Rainbow Ball Pool, family workshops, etc. A number of traditional games like ball pool and game booths will also be available for kids.

IRIS: Your escape

In this summer, an array of events is going to be held in the spacious Central Harbourfront Event Space for people to relax. One of the highlight would be “IRIS: YOUR ESCAPE” which is an all-day yoga and wellness festival that aims at creating a public space for everyone regardless of their age, gender and race. The event is free of charge! Apart from the Yoga Zone and Meditation Zone for releasing stress, there will also be a Discovery Zone for people to experience the joy of sporting. If you would like to try Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, Zumba, Wing Chun Kuen, Aerial silk dance and HIIT, you must not miss this great opportunity for the exposure.


The event space will also include a little market that sells different kinds of beauty and healthy products. Well, the public space is in fact also a mini-carnival because you can also try body painting and dance with the music!

Summer music festival in Stanley

Next week, Stanley is going to be fueled by a wide variety of music to boost the festival summer atmosphere to the max!


The annual music festival will be held on the 9th, 11th and 12th of June in Stanley Plaza. There will be a uniquely designed theme for each of the day. The first day starts with the theme of “Dancing Queen”. Get ready to move with the beats and erupt into screams and applause with all the young sweats around you. The next day is a film music marathon. You will hear a lot of familiar melodies that remind you of many good old films. The third day is a flashback to the 60's-80's to show the gratitude to the singers in the past. The festival is going to bring you across different eras for you to enjoy the most exhilarating moment with you buddies in the outdoor plaza.


Special costumes will be provided in the photo booth for you to capture the fun memories. You can also enjoy the snacks and drinks, as well as the dancing performances and seaside creative market there. The festival will certainly entertain you for the whole day with surprises that you cannot imagine having.

2016 Mega Ice Hockey 5’s

One of the largest ice hockey tournaments in Asia, where thousands players from different countries will vie for the top honour. All games will be free to watch. Come and catch the live action!


1500 players from all over the world are going to vie for the top honour in this famous Asian hockey tournament from 25 to 30 April (Youth Divisions), and 2 to 7 May 2016 (Adult Divisions). A Mega Ice Hockey 5’s Photo Competition will also be held. Whether you are a professional photographer or an amateur, you are highly encouraged to join the competition to show your excellent photography skills by capturing the extremely fast-paced movement on the ice.


Being the largest and the only international sized ice rink in Hong Kong, Mega Ice has been holding various world-recognized games in the past years. It is situated in the Beehive Atrium of MegaBox next to a 30-metre glass window, with full harbour views, where audience can enjoy the show in a comfortable environment. The well-equipped facility enables it to hold numerous international tournaments, leagues and Olympic qualified games for the best players in the world.


Apart from being a sporting venue, Mega Ice is also a multi-purpose venue designed for performances, concerts, exhibitions, corporate and private functions and even birthday parties!

Books for Love @ $10

The annual “Books for Love” charity book sale will take place from 21 April 2016 to 24 April 2016 at ArtisTree in Taikoo Place for all the book lovers. All the books received from donation will be sold for $10 only. The event is jointly presented by Swire Properties’ Community Ambassador Programme and The Boys’ & Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA), and all profits from the sale will go to BGCA directly to help create more educational opportunities for children in need.


The aim of the book sale is to promote a love of reading in a green and affordable way and contribute to a meaning cause. Every year, the general public shows their fervency by donating thousands of books in different genres. Last year, more than 60,000 books were collected in the campaign which attracted nearly 15,000 visitors to come. A donation of more than HK$510,000 was raised thanks to the generosity of the supporters.


It is said that “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure”. Hunting in the book sale may lead you to another treasure. You little step will also change the life of numerous children!

Dutch Days in Hong Kong

During the month of April, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Asia Week Hong Kong collaborate to present the “Dutch Days in Hong Kong” to public as a celebration of Koningsdag or King’s Day, which is the national holiday in the Kingdom of the Netherlands on April 27 every year. The festival showcases a diverse programme including a fine selection of Dutch art and culture.


It will be kicked off with a museum seminar series “Masters of the Golden Age” organized by the renowned Dutch museums: Mauritshuis Museum, Het Scheepvaartmuseum and the Rijksmuseum. There will be lectures by Frank van Driel and Robert Aronson, as well as exhibitions of the art pieces by Wessel Huisman, Anniek Verholt and Amber Ambrose Aurèle. Apart from these, the week-long Dutch Film Festival at The Grand Cinema also welcomes all the film lovers to come.


Another highlight of the festival is definitely the culinary evening “Taste of Holland”! There will be a marvelous selection of Dutch food and beverage entrepreneurs in Hong Kong. The ten booths for savoring will be placed on the 37th floor of the Hong Kong Skyline. The exclusive dining area will surely be a real foodie heaven for one evening.
